A weekend in Windsor part II - Windsor Castle
It looked like the queen was away today, the Union Jack flag was flying above the castle.
We visited the state appartments and the Queen Mary's Doll House, a 1920's mansion for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V. All products were made to 1/12th of a scale by the original manufacturers, the electricity and plumbing are both functional and the bottles in the cellar contain real wine.

The Crooked House of Windsor
Built in 1592, there was a secret passageway in the basement that led to Windsor Castle.
And finally, a cup of tea...
and a piece of cake from Patisserie Valerie.
